  1. ...forgiveness is important, but in Trump's case it is impossible.

  3. It's terrifying. First concentration camp built. How many more?

  4. We are witnessing the change in America for the worse. Fascism seems to have taken hold and the President has his enablers, willing to spread their hatred at free will. They are emboldened as they have found others that have been indoctrinated to feel the same way. For all of his immoral qualities, Trump excels at the long con. Parallels between his rise in politics and Hitler's is undeniable. I truly hate to say this about anyone or anything but it is hard to deny. It is there. This has also brought forth ugliness in some of my fellow citizens that would have been admonished twenty years ago. The hope is that sanity will win in the end but that seems a far stretch. Some are fleeing to other countries and I would be lying if I said we weren't considering the same. The harm caused will take decades to overcome. While I remain I will make my voice heard as will others. The reason is I was watching a video not too long ago describing the rhetoric of Trump and his hate- filled speeches and it was said that the Holocaust also started with just words. A reminder to all.

  5. Your post is inspiring. Folks who care about others, who receive and offer kindness, and have compassion are a gift. The United States has faced many problems, made wrong decisions and hurt others with superior attitudes and greed. I guess for many it is called human nature. Deep down, there are more people who care than not, are willing to help and indeed understand we are all connected and we all matter. As dark days hang over us we can never give up hope and must speak out against evil and do what we can to help others. Thank You for the post.

  6. Thank you for these letters Marcia. I pass them along to my husband and we both find them very interesting.
