Priego was our base for the two weeks in southern Spain. It was the first place we went exploring as we adjusted to the time change and jet lag.

A hot day. We kept ourselves hydrated in the dry heat.
Close up of the stone. Looked like pumice but I think it was karst.
Heading out to the next place to visit.
...I hope that those roofs will be repaired.

ReplyDeleteThere looked like a lot of really tight spaces in this fortress exploration. The mural with the heads was a bit off setting, but undoubtedly a true depiction of the fighting that occurred. It looks like the weather was much the same as we had when exploring the ruins of Pompeii.
