Plant ID Needed

I believe this is a weed but maybe not.  Anyone recognize it?

What about this?

This is not!

  1. ...the first one is horseradish, the second one I'm not sure of and the last one may be star of Bethlehem.

  2. I thought the first one to be Broad-leaved Dock, but Tom is a horticulturalist........

  3. There is a phone app, apparently. I cannot vouch for it.

  4. Second one is a puzzler. I'd leave it alone and see if it blooms.

  5. I have discovered that if you have an iPhone (may it works on android phones as well), you can take a picture of the plant, then click on the "i" under the picture and you will be able to identify the plant. It's a cool feature. I hope you have a good weekend! For some reason, your blog disappeared from my feed and I can't re-add you. So frustrating. Thanks for commenting so I can come over here and see what you are up to! See you again soon.

  6. I think the first is Dock - Horseradish leaves are shinier and narrower.
Second I'm not sure - I see two different things there.
Third is Star of Bethlehem - pretty.

  7. Marcia, I was going to make the suggestion that Deb already made about taking a photo and then using the iPhone to ID it. This is a handy feature that we have used quite often while out on walks. I am not sure about android phones.
