I'm with you, Marcia. These northern lakes are a little cold for swimming, although I had a friend years ago who swam almost daily in a lakr in central Ontario and didn't enjoy it all when he swam in the ocean in Florida.
What a great way to have this beautiful lake to cool down in on a hot and sunny day even you did only get your ankles in the water. A magnificent shot of the waterfall. I have had to come to the I.O.W. again as my daughter needed the risky operation after the bad car crash and went through it on Monday so I am here to help as she can do nothing and is is terrible pain. It will be a long road to recovery so I will try and continue to make daily posts however my time to comment is VERY limited. I. thank you for any comments you leave

ReplyDeleteIt does look like a very good spot. It was very hot here too on that day.
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, that makes me long for icy cold lake swimming! No alligators to worry about either!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Just an idyllic summer day.
ReplyDeleteThat is very beautiful but it would have to be a 100 degrees before I'd step into a cold late. I'm gutless.
