We didn't get the feet of snow that others got.  Though it snowed all day it was only several inches to clean up the snow we had already.

  4. I love snow pictures, but I'm not a fan of cold weather.
I had enough of snow and cold when we lived in Germany in the 80's :)
    Enjoy your new surroundings Marcia.

  5. At first I thought the first photo was of a very shiny and smooth ice skating rink. Then I realized it was the shine on the window and shadow on the snow!

  6. Dear Marcia, I love reading your blog (even though I don't respond much these days)... Love your new home and that entire area of New England. Glad you are closer to your family now...

You mentioned Icy Waterfalls. Since George and I enjoy waterfalling especially in Winter when there is more water coming over the falls. We've seen our share of ICY falls --but this year, even though we've had some cold, winter weather, we have some moderate weather between. In order for us to get ICY falls, we have to have long consistent times of very cold weather... We did see icicles this last trip --but no icy falls...

Hope you two are doing well --and will continue to enjoy life...

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  7. Always enjoy seeing photos of winter and thanks for showing the snowfall around your home, Marcia. We are just as glad to be missing the forecasted ice and snow for this weekend since we're n our southern road trip now. Thanks for the birthday well wishes, which were much appreciated!
