I have half a raised-bed garden plot in the garden downstairs where perennials are growing transplanted from daughter Sarah's house in Greenbelt, MD awaiting planting at their new house in Buffalo, NY. Dan and I checked them out yesterday.
I had forgotten that the bleeding heart was a white variety.
Everything doing well.
Sarah and William settle on their new home in early June. I don't know when we'll get to visit them there.
...bleeding hearts now come on a number of wonderful varieties.
ReplyDeleteI love bleeding hearts. Do you also call them Lady in a Bath? It suits the pink varieties better but it used to make me giggle when I was a child. (Letter written and awaiting a kind person.)
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a bleeding heart plant. They are beautiful. I am waiting upon some seeds to grow some herbs inside. I look forward to starting an herb garden, Be safe.
ReplyDeleteI didn’t know there were white bleeding hearts. My mom had them in her flower garden when I was a child and I was always intrigued by the name.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember ever seeing white ones.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
