As I promised in a previous post, I'm giving you more on the Coca-Cola Museum in Vicksburg, MS. As you may know Coca-COla was invented in Atlanta, GA. It was served at lunch counters. It was a candy maker in Vicksburg that figured out how it could be bottled and so now you know how it grew.
The Biedenharn Museum has everything you can imagine associated with Coca-Cola.

ReplyDeleteLooks so interesting Marcia. I think it must be one of the most famous commercial items ever. In the early 70s I was trekking in a remote part of Nepal and in a very small village there was a stall selling bottles of Coca Cola. I was so surprised as the only drink we could get up to that point was tea as everything had to be carried up into the hills from Kathmandu!

ReplyDeleteI didn't imagine there would be that many Coke things in existence to fill a museum! When I was a child we used to get a cherry coke from the soda fountain if we had been good while my mother did her shopping. It tasted way better than Coke from a bottle or can.
