A Hiatus for the Holidays!

Here's wishes for a Happy Holiday season
from my house to yours.

Lots to be done to celebrate this wonderful time of year.

The tree needs putting up and trimming.

Menus for parties need planning and advance preparations started.
Cookies need baking.
Last minute gifts need purchasing and wrapping.
Cards need to be addressed and mailed.

It's also that time of year for reflecting on events of the past year and future events to come.

I will return to blogging in the New Year.

Joyous Holidays and a Happy New Year!

Note: photos are from years' past!  No snow here and no tree or decorations up yet!

  10. Beautiful pics, and your Christmas tree is stunning!!! Nice job! There is something about large trees outside that you can see from inside that just 'feels' like the holidays.

Side note, I got your comment this morning, this was something Amazon asked some bloggers to do if we were going to post about cyber Monday. But I told 2nd Man the first negative comment and I would remove it and change it. So I changed it back to what it was originally going to be, just talking about Prime (because we really do use that and the post was about cyber Monday shopping). Of course, that removed your comment because it came out as an entirely new post.

Thank you for your honesty! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  16. No snow here either (this is not a surprise!) but the decorations are up!

The walk up Mt. Gower was guided - well a guide came along! - the aim is to stop people walking anywhere other than on the nominated track. The helmets had to be worn for a shot section when we were below some very steep and tall rock faces - not to protect us if we fell, but to protect us if rocks fell. It felt a little like the climbing I used to do in the UK where the helmet gave protection from what was above!!
