Harvests of tomatoes are picking up. Green beans continue being prolific. Green peppers, zucchini, cucumber continue the green theme. I'll be glad when the yellow squash starts producing.
Here's what it looked like this past week.
A monster cucumber that I had missed seeing.
Jimmy Nardello peppers still haven't turned red but that's not stopping me from picking them. This basket of goodies went north to New York City with a young couple moving there who stopped here overnight on their trek.
Enough green beans to feed 5 people with leftovers.
Juliette tomatoes are producing and producing. I plan to use them like romas and make sauce.
Other harvests can be seen at Daphne's Dandelions on Monday.
Nice - it won't be too long before we can plant here.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I was aware, you were not allowed to take photographs within Westminster Abbey - but the Chapter House was OK.

Beautiful harvest! Love all the variety you have, and those beans look so nice and crisp!
ReplyDeleteLovely harvests. And there is always at least one that gets away from you, isn't there. This year though I want to let at least one of my cukes go to seed. I supposed I'd better do it soon before the wilt infects everything.
ReplyDeleteVery nice variety in your harvests. I keep seeing those Juliet tomatoes everywhere. I must give them a try at some point.
ReplyDeleteI always miss a few cukes and squash myself. They grow so fast sometimes!
ReplyDeleteNice harvests this week! Those cucumbers and zucchini are so good at hiding and getting giant overnight.
