Gorgeous iris! It is one of my favorite flowers Our iris did not do well over the winter, though the purple and white bloomed this year. As for my farm post, the grain was cut green with the seeds (looked like wheat to me) still intact, so it also qualifies as hay. I have seen these round bales in feed lots around Frederick with the cows munching away.
Beautiful! The dark purple iris you gave me bloomed so prettily for me - it's such a gorgeous color. I just love that big pop of color in the spring that irises bring.
Just discovered your blog this morning, Marcia! I'm a recently retired teacher, too. Truly enjoying my days in the Springtime garden. Love your Irises! ♡Dawn
Wonderful Macro Flowers!
ReplyDeleteYour iris are so beautiful. Those certainly are in my favorite list of flowers.
ReplyDeleteFlowers are so fun to photograph...especially with a macro lens!

ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have got to learn how to make my Iris more healthy. Mine will not bloom so beautifully. I am not nourishing them successfully...
