OH My---Hope the deer didn't eat any of your flowers or veggies.... We saw 3 deer today --but luckily, they were in the back near the golf course fairway.
Eileen if you mean the zucchini on the plant, it wasn't huge. Look in the basket photo where it sits picked. If you mean the butternut, it is fairly large and it got picked too.
I was a science teacher for almost 20 years - it was good, bad, often stressful and eventually not the right thing for me to be doing any more. Now I work in educational research.
Nice looking crops. Looks like the deer likes them too :)
ReplyDeleteActually, Dan, the deer is eating the liriope blossoms outside the screen porch. They can't get into the vegetable garden.

Yes, we have been enjoying them.
DeleteOh, yum!
ReplyDeleteAte the zucchini last night and gave some of the tomatoes and cucumbers away to day to a friend.
DeleteVery nice rewards from your lovely garden! Is that squash? It looks huge! Have a great evening!

DeleteI'm hoping the pumpkins are pie variety.
I think that deer is after your vegetables!
