Fall
Autumn usually referred to as Fall sure lives up to its nickname.
Here are some before and after photos.

Wednesday Walking Group
Wednesday the 12th I selected the spot we walked. It was a gorgeous day and one of the last ones with leaves in full glory.
This is Paradise Park in Windsor, VT. Mt. Ascutney is to the west over the pond.
We walked over three miles roundtrip and climbed the equivalent of 20 stories according to the health app on my phone.
From here we drove into Windsor to a coffee shop where we sat outside and enjoyed the sun. Next week's walk I hear will be on flat terrain along Mascoma Lake.

Hope Cemetery
Barre, Vermont is known for its granite quarries and the sculptors from all over the world that have made the town home.
The local cemetery is a testament to their skill. We spent quite a few minutes walking around admiring the headstones which are unlike anything we have seen before in cemeteries.
By the way Barre is pronounced barry not bar as I thought.
Someday we will return and make a visit to the granite quarry museum there.

Fall Colors
Dan and I took this walk on Tuesday the 11th. The leaves were in their glory. Dan calls it "eye candy" to see the reds and yellows so vibrant. As I write this on Friday we have had 3 inches of rain overnight and the leaves are coming down fast. The peak color is over.
But enjoy this walk, we did. It was on Skyline Drive. Not the Skyline Drive in Virginia in the Shenandoah National Park.
We walked over 2 miles in and out. It's a road on the map but one that's closed during mud season and definitely only traveled on by 4 wheel drive. There were signs for and against ATV travel. It must be a popular snowmobile path too.
