Harvest Monday - Lettuce

Not many more harvests to enjoy at this house.

Here's what I picked Monday  afternoon and stored in the refrigerator for later use in salads and sandwiches.

the basket with all the types of lettuce together

spinach

several types of lettuce

washing the rest of the lettuce

This post was supposed to be posted on Monday but blogger wouldn't let me access my photos.

Nothing like a beautiful fresh salad, especially when it's all home grown.
Regarding your comment on my Museum post Marcia, I did a post some time ago about the old historic bicycles.
They are here if you want to have a look at them

Beautiful lettuce Marcia! It looks like you are making the most of your garden until your move.

A wonderful harvest Marcia. Looks so fresh and green! I envy you your salads. Thanks for stopping by my birdhouse post. I hadn't thought that the last one could have been a butterfly house. I have seen them in magazines but not actually in real life. When I look at it now that makes a lot of sense. Thank you :)
