Harvest Monday

Beans and more beans!

The last ripe tomatoes for awhile and some peppers.

The garden was a jumble of weeds and dying tomato plants until I cleaned it up last week.

Looking much better here.

And here.

Spinach, lettuce, bok choy planted under the netting.

A Cherokee purple - will it ripen on the vine?

A lone cucumber, picked later in the week.

Basil the best its ever grown for me.

See what other gardeners have harvested at Daphne's Dandelions.

I need to get out and tidy up my garden beds. Hope your cherokee purple ripen on the vine for you.

Your garden and harvest look beautiful! Very nice tomatoes you are still getting.

Marcia your garden is still looking wonderful. It surely is producing well for you this year. My basil did the best it has ever done. I was supplying it to a restaurant for a while for their caprese salad.

Your garden looks beautiful after the clean up, and all those beans are great. I'm very impressed with your basil plants too, that reminds me I must plant my basil seeds.

Your garden is lovely! Where did you find that pop up net?

Well something is nibbling now on that tomato. I don't think I'm going to see it ripen on the vine after all.

That was probably the last sizable harvest. I picked three Market miracles this morning but they were on the small side.

I wish I could give my basil to someone. I'm not a big fan of pesto and I have some frozen. Maybe I should google caprese salad.

I need to freeze some of those beans because its more than we can eat all at once.

Thanks. The net came from Gardeners Supply.

Your basil certainly looks amazing! Mine hasn't fared as well this year.

Your garden looks so neat and tidy, it's lovely. And that basil is like a small tree, wow! I imagine that it just perfumes the whole garden.

Your garden is looking really nice; my basil all got run over by the tomatoes; I really need to keep up with things more, but this was a rough summer between the job and the weather. Of course there's always next year!

Nice harvest. Hope the weather holds long enough for your CP to ripen.

I hope so too.
