Welcome reader to my blog - a mixture of this and that. Now that we are living in a retirement community in downtown Columbia, MD my personal gardening activities are somewhat curtailed. I still enjoy visiting gardens, reading, watching wildlife on my walks, traveling, and occasional food commentary. Please leave a comment if you feel inspired to do so. I read every one of them.

I love those pictures and I love what you wrote. That's so true huh? No matter what we go through, the flowers still bloom and the birds still chirp!

thank you, if I could get my yard looking even half as good as yours I'd be happy. Your flowers are just beautiful.

You are doing very well with the canvas you have at that little farm.

And what life threw at me was my mom in the hospital. She's out and home now but it was so unexpected and life changing for her and all of us who love her. Don't know what to expect in days, weeks, months ahead.

Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks. And yes plants are thriving though we've escaped the heat until today! Ouch, it is to be a hot one here.

Hi Marcia, Gorgeous blooms.... Aren't we just so fortunate to have all of these beautiful flowers blooming in our yards???? The ones you sent are doing fine so far --despite our heat and dryness... I've been watering them everyday...

Hugs,
Betsy
