Irises

This morning at 7 am.

By 10 am it looked like this.

Another one - a different shade of purple.

The gold ones in all their glory.

Finally, a third purple type of iris.

Still to bloom the purple Siberian iris and the yellow water irises around the pond.

Love the iris. Am anxious to get the ones Fred sent me out of their pots and into the ground so they might bloom this year but am afraid I have to get more done than I did today or nothing is going to get in the ground.

I have several white irises, and while I like them, I have one purple one - just one! - and it is my absolute favorite. I wait for it (just the one!) to open every year. Yours are gorgeous!
