Harvest Monday

Since last Harvest Monday the tomatoes have really come into their own. This week I have harvested:
13 Amish paste
11 Goldie
8 Rutgers

Also harvested this past week: 2 eggplants, 4+ cucumbers, 2 green peppers, and lots of basil.

Here are scenes of the garden.

Brussels sprouts are growing well.
An eggplant that was later picked on Sunday. Rather small but we were impatient to eat it.

Marigolds are keeping the tomato horn worms away so far.

Hope the green peppers will grow bigger. Slow growers.

Blueberries that are slowly ripening.

Beans growing tall but not flowering yet.

Zucchini will be producing soon, I hope.

Space to plant more beets in that one bed which has eggplant and peppers.

See more harvests at Daphne's Dandelions.

Your garden looks very happy, healthy and tidy!! Your brussel sprouts look good. This is my first time planting them. They seem to be doing well, but also have some damage to the leaves like yours

Your garden scenes are pretty. I'm getting a kick out of everyone's tomatoes just coming on. I have two determinate types, celebrity and patio, and they're both just about played out.
Being a container gardener, though, I'm still thrilled. I've gotten enough to roast and freeze for winter use. Plus, I'm planning on pulling out the tomatoes and putting peas in the celebrity tub within the next couple of days. So it's goodbye one plant, hello to a whole new crop!

I'm growing Amish Paste this year too. So far they are all green with no sign of turning. I can't wait to try it out though. Your tomatoes look beautiful.

Your garden is looking good. We have not seen flowering on our eggplant or peppers yet. Hopefully soon!

The Goldie tomato looks very pretty. I love discovering all these non-red tomatoes through garden bloggers like you. Before this year, I had no idea tomatoes came in any color other than red! That's what I get for being a citykid shopping for grocery at big chain supermarkets.

Thanks for sharing the lovely scenes from your garden!

Your garden is spilling over with deliciousness! We are eggplant fans here too. One year, I had too many and I was walking the streets with armloads of them trying to give them away which is when I discovered that not everyone likes them. Who knew?

Nice harvest! Love those tomatoes. One of the main reasons I garden is for the tomatoes. I like looking at your pictures of the whole garden. Nice to see what other people are doing.

I love pictures from your garden; everything is very green and organized. My garden is everything but organized this time of year...
Lovely tomato harvest and I’m sure there is more to come.
